Support Our Vision for a Creative Community

The Springfield Center for the Arts is transforming the historic 1903 Masonic Hall into an inclusive, welcoming hub for music, theater, dance, visual arts, skilled crafts, and community gatherings. Located at a crossroads of natural beauty and cultural vitality, the Center will serve as a creative anchor for Springfield Center and for visitors across Otsego County and beyond.

Our Program

We invite artists, performers, creators, and other organizations from near and far to use the entire building as a vibrant hub for exhibitions, performances, collaborative projects, and instructional programs. As the Center grows, we are exploring a range of seasonal programming options—including the possibility of summer theatre—based on community needs, partnerships, and available resources. Our commitment is to provide creative and educational opportunities accessible to all ages and abilities, often at no or minimal cost, to ensure broad community engagement. We also envision future residency programs for performing artists and artisans to deepen connections and enrich our community.
